Capturing Gagan and Fergus's Meaningful Engagement Ceremony

As an Essex-based wedding and lifestyle photographer, I'm honored when couples invite me to document the most important days of their lives. Last year, I photographed Gagan and Fergus's traditional Indian engagement ceremony, planned by their families as a precursor to their upcoming wedding celebrations this year. The engagement was at Iberica's , its stunning modern interior with pops of vibrant tilework was the ultimate backdrop.

The intimate event brought together Gagan and Fergus's immediate families and closest friends to formally recognize the couple's decision to get married.

The highlight was hearing both sets of parents give touching speeches about watching their children grow into the wonderful people they are today. There was barely a dry eye in the room! I felt so privileged to document this blending of cultures and traditions – the couple standing hand-in-hand as their families became one. The love between Gagan and Fergus was palpable, and I can’t wait to celebrate with them again on their big day!
